In the year 2000 Russ had the honor of being a special guest performer at Country Music Hall of Famer, Buck Owens birthday party in Bakersfield, California!
Russ has had the priviledge of performing with legendary Buck Owens and the Buckaroos at Buck's Crystal Palace nightclub in Bakersfield, California on several different occasions - "This is without a doubt my greatest honor and the biggest thrill of my life" - Russ
Mr. Jack Greene personally asked Russ to be a special guest performer at the Jack Greene Celebrity Golf Tournament and Concert in Johnson City, Tennessee in the year 2001. Russ considers this a great honor to be thought enough of to be selected as a performer among such country music legends performing at and in attendance of this event.
Russ performed with everyone's favorite twin brothers, the legendary "Hager Twins" from "HEE HAW" fame, onstage in Johnson City, Tennessee.
Russ , along with country music legend Red Simpson, was the feature entertainment at Mr. Mack Wimbish's Sheriff Election Campaign Headquarters in Kern County, California in the year 2002.
Russ was requested to perform at the famous "Cowboy Palace" Nightclub in Los Angeles, California in 2002, and was invited back for a return performance
